Why this farm exists

our story

The long way back to the farm

I am the son of a farmer. Like most of my generation, I was told that the way forward was out — go to the city, go to university, find work that does not leave dirt under your nails.

So I went. And what I discovered at university was that I had not left agriculture behind at all; I had only started to understand it. The science of how a plant actually grows, what it takes up, what it holds in its tissue — that turned out to be the thing I wanted to spend my life on.

What decided it was something closer to home. In Vietnam, people eat vegetables every single day that nobody can account for. Sprayed on a schedule nobody records, harvested before the withholding period is over, sold through a chain where no one is responsible for what is on the leaf. We all know this. We eat it anyway, because there has not been a real alternative.

I cannot fix an entire food system. But cancer rates in this country are not an abstraction to me, and clean food is the piece of that problem I am actually equipped to work on. That is why this farm exists — not as a lifestyle, and not as a brand. As a specific answer to a specific problem.

where we are today

Growing behind the scenes

At the moment, almost everything we grow reaches restaurants through a distribution partner who sells our produce on. It has been a good way to learn the trade: we found out quickly which varieties a kitchen actually reorders, and which ones only look good in a photograph.

But it also means most of the chefs plating our microgreens have never heard our name, and cannot ask us a question about how their food was grown. That is the gap this website is here to close.

We are keeping our partner. We are also, for the first time, opening direct conversations with kitchens, hotels, retailers and families who want to know where their food comes from.

how we work

Research, then lead

We would rather be the farm that finds out first than the farm that waits to be asked.

  1. 01

    We test before we sell

New varieties go through trial cycles on our own benches — germination rate, yield per tray, shelf life, and how the flavour actually holds up two days after cutting. Only what survives that goes on the list.

  2. 02

    We keep learning from outside

Vertical farming, substrate science, post-harvest handling and food safety standards move quickly. We read, we visit, we ask, and we bring back what applies to growing conditions in Vietnam.

  3. 03

    We measure instead of guessing

Light hours, temperature, humidity, water and seed density are recorded for every crop cycle. When a tray underperforms we can say why, and change one variable at a time.

  4. 04

We aim to set the standard here

Our ambition is not to be one more supplier. It is to be the reference point for what clean, traceable produce looks like in this market — and to make that ordinary rather than exceptional.

what we believe

A single seedling

Food should be accountable

Every tray we cut can be traced back to its seed lot, its sowing date and its growing conditions. If you ask us how something was grown, you get an answer, not a reassurance.

Clean is a method, not a label

We do not spray. That is possible because of how the farm is built — controlled environment, clean substrate, short cycles — not because of a certificate on the wall.

Edible flowers

Vietnamese kitchens deserve the best of this

Micro herbs and edible flowers are treated as a luxury import. They are not. They grow beautifully here, and they should be on Vietnamese tables first.
