This policy explains what personal information microgreenfarm collects through microgreenfarm.net and through its Facebook Page and Instagram account, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We collect as little as we can.

microgreenfarm is a farm in Linh Xuan, Thu Duc, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. We grow microgreens and edible flowers, and supply microgreen seed and growing tools. We are responsible for the information described on this page. Our contact details are at the end of it.
To take and deliver an order we keep the name and phone number you type, your email address if you give one, any note you add (such as a delivery address or time), what you ordered and the total. We use them only to confirm, prepare, deliver and keep a record of your order, and to contact you about it. Each new order is also sent to the farm by email, so that we see it straight away. When you write to us through the form on the contact page, what you type in it (your name, business, email address, phone number and message) is sent to the farm by email so that we can answer you; the website itself does not keep it.
Questions typed into the Ask box are answered by an AI model run by Cloudflare (Workers AI), using only the pages of this website. We keep each question and its answer, the page it was asked from and whether the answer helped, so that we can improve the website. Please do not type personal information into it. If you ask it to fill your cart or prepare an order, nothing is ordered until you press the order button yourself.
When it is switched on, Google Analytics counts visits to this website anonymously: which pages are seen, how visitors arrived and what they do, such as searching or adding to the cart. We never send your name, phone number or email address to Google, Google signals are off, and phone numbers and email addresses are removed from anything typed into the search box before it is counted. The website also counts its own visits as each page is opened: which page, when, the city and country of your internet connection, whether you are on a phone or a computer, and the website or link you came from. It sets no cookie on you for this and keeps no internet address: to tell visitors apart within one day it keeps only a scrambled code (a one-way hash) that changes every day and cannot be turned back into who you are.
Your cart is kept in your own browser and does not leave it until you order. When you arrive through one of our links on Facebook, Instagram or an advertisement, a cookie named mgf_go remembers which link it was for 30 days, so that an order can be credited to that post or advertisement. It holds only a short code, not who you are. You can delete both in your browser settings at any time.
To stop floods of fake orders, messages or questions, the website keeps a scrambled fingerprint (a one-way hash) of the internet address a request came from, never the address itself.
We use our own Meta app to publish posts and run advertisements on the Facebook Page and Instagram account of the farm, and to read their results. Through it we see the comments people leave on our posts and the public profiles of business accounts on Instagram, and Meta gives us totals for our advertisements, such as how many people saw or clicked them, never who they were. Comment text is used, with phone numbers removed, only to understand what customers ask about. We do not use Facebook Login, and we collect nothing else about you from Facebook or Instagram.
This website, its database and its email run on Cloudflare. Google receives the anonymous visit counts described above, and Meta what it needs to show our advertisements. We use AI services to help write posts and advertisements, but we never send them your name, phone number or email address. We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
Orders are kept as long as we need them to deliver and to keep records of our sales; questions from the Ask box as long as they help us improve the website; and the visit counts the website keeps itself for one year. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, unless the law requires us to keep it.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. How to ask for it to be deleted is explained on our data deletion page.
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
